Terms of Service

FamilyAI builds household intelligence software for Indian families. We help you see where money is leaking, simulate the effect of big decisions, and find schemes and benefits you may be entitled to.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. FamilyAI is currently offered to residents of India. If you use the Service on behalf of your household, you confirm that you have permission to share the information you enter about it.

• You can create an account with your email address and a password, or by signing in with Google. Either way, one account belongs to one person.
• Keep your details accurate and up to date. We rely on them to verify you and to tailor guidance to your situation.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and your Google account secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
• If you signed up with Google, you sign in with Google. You can ask us to add a password to that account at any time.

FamilyAI produces analysis, projections, and suggestions from the figures you give us. It is an information and planning tool.

Not professional advice. FamilyAI is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, insurer, lender, or tax adviser, and nothing in the Service is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Projections are estimates based on assumptions, not guarantees of any outcome. Before you act on anything you see here, especially where money, credit, insurance, or taxes are involved, check it against your own circumstances and consider speaking to a qualified professional. Decisions you make remain yours.

Parts of the Service use AI models, which can be wrong or incomplete. Please treat their output as a starting point, not a verdict.

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

• Break the law, or use the Service to harm, defraud, or mislead anyone.
• Upload someone else’s personal or financial information without the right to do so.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data, probe or breach our security, or interfere with the Service’s operation.
• Scrape, copy, or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Upload malware, or files you know to be harmful.

What you enter and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the Service for you: verify your account, produce your analysis, keep the Service secure, and meet our legal obligations. How we handle it, including how long we keep it and how to have it deleted, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

The Service itself, including our software, models, designs, and brand, belongs to FamilyAI. Using the Service does not transfer any of that to you.

We rely on a small set of providers to run FamilyAI, including hosting and database providers, email and SMS delivery, an AI provider that powers analysis, and Google for Google sign-in. When you sign in with Google, your use of Google’s services is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

FamilyAI is in early access. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn, and the Service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Where a change materially affects you, we will give notice if we reasonably can.

Early access is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and terms before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged for anything you have not agreed to.

You can stop using the Service and ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time by emailing team@familyai.in. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is used unlawfully, or puts other users or the Service at risk. Where practical we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy or completeness of any analysis, projection, scheme information, or recommendation.

To the extent the law allows, FamilyAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost savings, or lost data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one thousand rupees if you paid us nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, notify you directly. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service.
